- These fonts are included on the registered version disk.
-
- This material is provided for LJ 2 users of ECPage without a supported font
- cartridge or HP Type director soft-fonts. Please note the following:
-
-
- 1) These fonts are for use in your designs and use on 1 computer, they
- MAY NOT be distributed with your applications. I am licensed to
- distribute them with my applications - that license does not extend
- to further font distribution by end-users. If you need to distribute,
- for example, 5 applications using these fonts, you would need to purchase
- a 5 copy license of ECPage from me. They are a fair quality Helvectia
- font, however, they are not as refined as those you will get from
- a LJ3 or LJ4, or a LJ2 cartridge or HP Type Director Scalable soft font.
- For the best quality I would suggest those sources of fonts.
-
- Fonts Include: 6 Pt Helv Medium ID#20 D/L#20
- 8 Pt Helv Medium ID#21 D/L#21
- 10 Pt Helv Medium ID#22 D/L#22
- 12 Pt Helv Medium ID#23 D/L#23
- 12 Pt Helv Bold ID#24 D/L#24
- 14 Pt Helv Bold ID#25 D/L#25
-
- 2) To use these softfonts, self-extract: PAGESFNT.EXE , allow overwrites
- The file PAGESFNT.EXE must be in your \ECPAGE directory.
-
- 3) Select the LJ2 printer driver & use the ID#'s 20 to 25 HELV SOFT FONTS.
- DO NOT change the ID# or add to the setup string. Use ID#'s 20 - 25.
-
- 4) Before printing, make sure your printer is on, then type: FONTLOAD.BAT
- This will copy the fonts to the printer and allow their use.
-
- 5) Note that if you create diskfiles using these fonts, they MUST be
- loaded and available on your printer to use the diskfile, otherwise
- default fixed pitch printing will occur.
-
- 6) They will usually work best in a Portrait mode, although users with a
- LJ IIP/D or clone should be able to use them in Landscape mode as well.
- (As the IIP/D can rotate fonts as needed.)
